About Me
Hello, my name is Bella. I am a senior undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying Journalism and Peace, War, and Defense with a concentration in intelligence.
I originally hail from Western Massachusetts, a vastly different region from the humidity and smallness of NC. I started writing and
illustrating pretty early on, but stumbled into a passion for journalism pretty late into my sophomore year of college, when I joined The Daily Tar Heel, UNC-CH's independent, student-led newspaper. I love to write about national politics, social issues, music, and particularly the environment.
When I'm not writing or researching, I can be found doing Wikipedia article deep dives, at the gym or sifting through the Magazine Rack on the Internet Archive.
